Big Valley Joint Unified School District
The Maintenance Department of the Big Valley Joint Unified School District strives to eliminate pests
in the least toxic manner. These procedures are in accordance with the District's Integrated Pest Management
Program and include sanitation, elimination of pest entry locations and the use of non-toxic Green
products and bait traps. It is often necessary to supliment these tactics with insecticides applied by a
licensed pest control service. The District has contracted monthly pest control services
